PowerLink, LLC ("PowerLink," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when using the Service, including:

• Account Information: Name, email address, password, and profile information when you create an account.
• Payment Information: Billing address and payment card details (processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe).
• Communications: Information you provide when contacting support, providing feedback, or participating in surveys.
• User Content: Any data, messages, files, or other content you upload or create within the Service.
• Profile Photo: Optional profile image you choose to upload.

1.2 Information from Third-Party Platforms

When you authorize PowerLink to access third-party platforms (such as LinkedIn), we may collect:

• Connection Data: Names, profile information, job titles, companies, and other professional details of your connections that you export or authorize us to access.
• Profile Information: Your own profile information from connected platforms.
• Communication History: Metadata about your professional communications (not content) if you authorize such access.

Important: We only access data you explicitly authorize. You control what data you import into PowerLink.

1.3 Information from Data Enrichment Services

When you use our data enrichment features, we may obtain additional information about your connections from third-party data providers (such as Apollo.io), including:

• Professional email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Current employment information
• Company details and industry information
• Professional social media profiles
• Seniority and department information

1.4 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, we automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type and version, unique device identifiers.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed, referring URL, and other system activity.
• Usage Information: Features used, actions taken, search queries, and interaction patterns.
• Location Information: General geographic location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location).
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: Information collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).

1.5 The Plink Browser Extension and Auto Plink

Our optional browser extension lets you save any link to your board. It also includes Auto Plink, a feature you turn on yourself that helps build your board automatically. This section explains exactly what Auto Plink does and does not collect.

What Auto Plink collects. When Auto Plink is on, the extension notes the web addresses (URLs) and page titles of the public pages you spend real time on and sends them to our servers so we can turn the good ones into posts on your board.

What it deliberately does not touch. Auto Plink skips pages before they are ever sent, on your device, when they are:

• banking, payment, or other financial sites;
• health or medical sites;
• email, messaging, calendars, documents, and other logged-in or private tools;
• adult content;
• any page open in a private / incognito window;
• any page you only glanced at (a page must be open and in focus for a short dwell time first).

The extension does not build or store a running history of everywhere you browse. Only the qualifying public URLs above are sent, and only while Auto Plink is switched on.

How a URL becomes a post. For a qualifying URL, our servers fetch the page's public content (its title, description, and preview image) and send the recent page text and title to Anthropic's API (Claude) so a model can write a short blurb in your writing style and classify the topic into interest categories. Anthropic processes this on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. No email, account name, or other identifier about you is sent to Anthropic with it.

Audience data and earnings. The interest categories your saved links fall into (for example "Technology" or "Outdoor") are combined in aggregated, anonymized form and may be shared with advertisers. You earn points for this, which you can redeem as described in your account. This is derived from the content you save, not from a log of your general browsing.

Your controls. Auto Plink is optional and off until you enable it. You can use Draft mode to review and edit every post before it is published, opt out of data sharing, pause or turn Auto Plink off, and delete any post at any time. Deleting a post removes it and its associated interest tags.

Retention. Posts you create stay on your board until you delete them. A qualifying URL that is processed but not turned into a post is not retained as browsing history; the transient text sent to Anthropic for classification is not stored by us beyond that processing. You can request deletion of your data as described in Section 6.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Sending transactional emails (account verification, password resets, payment confirmations)
• Notifying you of PowerLink Messages you receive
• Providing service updates and announcements
• Sending marketing communications (with your consent, where required)
• Responding to your inquiries and support requests

2.4 Safety and Security

• Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Protecting the rights and safety of users and third parties
• Enforcing our Terms of Service and other policies
• Complying with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

• Payment Processing: Stripe processes payment transactions. They receive only the information necessary to process payments.
• Data Enrichment: Apollo.io and similar providers help enrich contact data.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts our servers and data.
• Email Services: AWS SES handles transactional email delivery.
• AI Services: Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI power AI features such as writing blurbs in your voice and classifying the topics of the links you save. Page text and titles are processed on our behalf and are not used to train their models or stored persistently by us; no identifier about you is sent with them.
• Analytics: Analytics providers help us understand Service usage.

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, including:

• Complying with subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes
• Responding to requests from law enforcement agencies
• Protecting our rights, privacy, safety, or property
• Preventing or investigating possible wrongdoing

3.3 Business Transfers

If PowerLink is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.

3.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent to or direct such sharing.

3.5 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, marketing, analytics, and other purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service and maintain your account
• Comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements)
• Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
• Support business operations and improve our services

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes. Some information may persist in backups for a limited time.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to receive it in a portable format.

6.2 Correction

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

Note: You will continue to receive transactional communications related to your account and the Service.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and store information about your interactions with the Service.

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function properly (authentication, security, preferences).
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Service.

7.2 Managing Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. However, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

7.3 Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. However, we do not track users across third-party websites for advertising purposes.

PowerLink is based in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our servers or service providers are located.
